In winter semester 2005-2006 and in summer semester 2006 we would like
to start a series about neuro-science. These discussions should focus
on definitions and theories about mind, intellect, brain, consciousness,
spirit, soul etc. in biophysical, neurological, chemical, philosophical
and theological perspectives. At the moment this project is planned
as a series of public lectures. But it could also end in a conference held
in the wonderful castle of the Evangelische Akademie Tutzing
at Lake Starnberg (20 miles south of Munich).
We try to invite the most interesting and well-renowned scientists in
Germany in the field of neuro-science, biophysics, philosophy and religious studies/theology.
