Dr. Peter Marinkovic,
serves as campus minister at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of
Munich. Marinkovic has taught Hebrew Bible and Biblical Archaeology
in a variety of positions at the Augustana-Hochschule Neuendettelsau
and at the Universities of Bayreuth, Salzburg, Augsburg and Munich
since 1987. From 1998 until 2002 he served as campus minister at the
Technical University of Munich in Garching. Marinkovic received his
doctorate in theology from Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich
in 1996. From 1984 until 1987 he worked as a vicar in a parish in
Lindenberg/Germany. Marinkovic studied Theology, Assyriology,
Egyptology, Philosophy and Pedagogy in Munich, Tuebingen and
Heidelberg. In 1982 he volunteered at the archaeological excavations
at Tell
el-Fuhhar (Akko/Israel),
and in 1988 he was invited to take part in the archaeological course
of the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in the Holy Land.
Marinkovic is a member of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of
Bavaria/Germany.
His special fields of interests in transdisciplinary dialogues are
cosmology, evolutionary
anthropology, neuroscience and arts.
